Memoirs of a music junkie (continued)

A couple more old recordings! Shah Rukh Khan was giving one blockbuster after another in 1990s. "Yess Boss" was another one of those. I enjoyed recording these two songs quite a bit.

Thanks for your time in advance!

  4. Wow!!! What a treat to listen to your 12-years younger voice. The same accuracy, feelings & emotions, everything. Maano ya na maano you are a born singer Azam.

Here what I am more impressed with is the quality of the recording, given the fact that voice and music were recorded altogether w/effects/echo, on an analog media (audio tape), and subsequently being converted into a digital media. The process itself is so lossy. Yet, the recordings are so clear. Impressive!!! I share the same experience w/you Azam, had lotsa' fun singing/recording on an Aiwa ZVM-27. That used to be my every Friday evening ritual.

  6. Wah Azambhai! What excellent singing - virtually perfect! Main Koi Aisa is a song that I am very fond of (quite a coincidence because I put up a harmonica version the other day on Muziboo :D) - and you were really good. So also Maine Socha!:)

  8. There is a certain innocence, sincerity and enthusiasm in your voice in all these songs. Totally pleasing to listen. My favorite is "Jaadu teri nazar"!

  9. Nassim, thank you so much for your kind words.

Paras, thank you for your detailed observations. Those were some fun times! Very memorable and cherish-able! Your kindness is valued and appreciated very much!

Shameen, I am glad you liked these renditions.

Asim da, you should definitely post some of your recordings also. Well, I did massage "Main Koi Aisa Geet" digitally! I enhanced my vocals slightly on that. However, "Maine Socha Na Tha" is untouched and so was "Jadoo Teri Nazar". Thank you for your valuable feedback again!

Dinesh bhai, bohat nawazish! Jahan aap jaise sunne wale milein wahan kaun apna gana post nahin karega! Thank you very much for your kind words!

Sarada, thank you very much! Yes "Jadoo Teri Nazar" is also one of my own favorites. The song was quite famous and every girl whose name was "Kiran" was called "k-k-k-k-k-Kiran" :) I appreciate your feedback very much!
