When I was young, my mom used to advise: "Don't start anything you cannot finish". Well, I would argue how would I know whether I could finish or not if I didn't start. Nope! She was not happy with that answer! Well, trying to capture the moods of Rafi sahab appears to be similar task! I started it but have no clue whether I would be able to bring it to a decent conclusion! Well, how would I know if I did not try - he he he!

ReplyDeleteOutstanding singing Khan Sahab. Esp. loved the second song. You must have been drawing an intoxicating eye on the mirror like Dev Anand does in the song. Absolutely loved it. The variations, the manner of singing words like khataa... all very nasheele. And some still believe the road to another world passes through a bottle ? Thanks for sharing
